Covid-19 is thought to spread mainly through close contact from person to person, including between people who are physically near each other (within about 6 feet).
When people with Covid-19 cough, sneeze, sing, talk or breathe they produce respiratory droplets. The droplets size vary where the larger droplets settle on surfaces and the smaller droplets remain suspended in the air for upto 48 hours. Other people are then infected via these droplets of Covid-19 through their eyes, mouth & nose.
